Hi I'm Ethan, a keen hunter, fisherman, rugby player and an engineer. Just your average Kiwi guy living in the deep south of New Zealand.

My passion for hunting and the outdoors has meant that I've spent numerous hours exploring the back country of New Zealand. It was here that I had the thought to redesign how the bipod attaches to a rifle and to create a unique detachable bipod. Being an engineer, I decided to put my skills to use and make my goal become a reality.

Backlanz now has a range of innovative bipods and accessories and we are ready to take on the world!
